The Happy Book: February 5

Knowing Friday is Happy Day is certainly making me look forward to the end of the week! I know there are going to be precious moments, tales of adventure and likely more than a few giggles!

This week Gina shared some of her home town with us in this video. What a great idea to share a taste of where you live. That way we'll get to travel the world, just like the Happy Book!

Gina, Pamela, Fiona and Nadia, we're all looking forward to reading what your experience was like with the book! Here's who's next on The Happy Adventure:

  • Bliss: Meg in Australia - The Happy Book is on its way to Meg's!
  • Giggle: Amber Jean in Montana - The Happy Book is going to Amber Jean next!
  • Mirth: Lani in the Nova Scotia - The Happy Book is on its way to Lani!
  • Glee: Olwyn in British Columbia - The Book has arrived at Olwyn's!

  • And let's keep sharing our happy:
    • Everyone's welcome to write a post about what made them happy this week and share it in the Mr. Linky below.
    • Come on by our Vimeo group to share a video of what makes you happy! It doesn't have to be perfect or edited or even have sound! Whatever makes you happy is just right. A moment of home video? Perfect. Your cat purring? Purrfect.
    • Or if photography's more your thing, catch a moment of happy and share it at our Flickr group called Share Your Happy. Let's see some photos of your smiling faces!
What made you Happy this week?

    2. I'm with Boho Mom, I knew nothing about that area either and I loved getting to see where you live. Oh to have a chocolatier that close?! Heaven! And those tall old trees, what I would do for those. Very cool idea!

    3. I loved seeing this video, too, Gina. I have a very good friend who moved to Sacramento a few years ago and talks about riding on the bike trail along the river - so loved thinking of Mary riding along. Wave to her for me! What kind of cameras are people using for videos? I want to learn how to do this. It is such a neat idea!

    4. Becky, I've made videos using my Canon Powershot camera but more recently I bought a Flip Video and am having fun with it too.

    10. I had not been following The Happy Book but came across it the beginning of this week! Sounds like such a good idea! It follows my thankful Thursday - just stating what I'm thankful for, and looking for those moments does make me happier!

    13. Wanted to say hello and that I'm excited to receive my turn with the happy book! It's my first time so I am very eager.. :)

I've linked my pic-a-day blog. Ironically, my happy this week relates to eagerness: eager about the snow storm (and hot chocolate that is associated with it in my mind!), about attending new Zumba class, connecting with friends, and about work.

Oh..and about what the next week will bring!

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to join this happy place!
