Happy Friday, everyone! For the first time, all of the books are in the hands of Happy Adventurers!
- Bliss: Gina in California - The Happy Book has arrived at Gina's!
- Giggle: Pamela in Saskatchewan - The Happy Book has arrived at Pam's!
- Mirth: Fiona in the UK - The Happy Book has arrived at Fiona's!
- Glee: Nadia in Alberta - The Book has arrived at Nadia's!
And let's keep sharing our happy! Remember, we have:
- A Vimeo group to share our videos of what makes us happy! We've already had the joy of Boho Mom's video. And you saw me putting the books in the mail. What would you like to share? It can be short and sweet. It doesn't have to be perfect or edited or even have sound! Whatever makes you happy is just right. A moment of home video? Perfect. Your cat purring? Purrfect.
- I've also just created a Flickr group called Share Your Happy, where you can share photos of what makes you happy or of you being happy!
Oh Jamie - I love that kittie clip - been playing it all week and showing everyone. Was it on your site earlier? Can't remember where I saw it, but love it so!
ReplyDeleteYes, I did share it a while ago on my site. It continues to make me happy! What a giggle.
ReplyDeleteThat is the cutest video! I love it and you can't watch it without feeling absolutely happy!
ReplyDeleteHi Happy Book Ladies! I just started blogging about my Happy Book journey today. I am so excited to be a part of the Giggle group and the entire group's Happy Book journey. I ordered the book yesterday from Amazon.com and am looking forward to it.
ReplyDeleteLove the kitty video. Precious and priceless as a happy moment.
ReplyDeleteI didn't get the book out today... sorry, I was just EXHAUSTED after work tonight so I will take it to the post office tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteI'm really liking it... this week has been a challenge, and so having that reminder that I can put down happy things has really been helping.
Next... onto Montanamber!
my new sock monkey snowglobe has made me really happy!
ReplyDeleteThe Mirth Circle book is now on its way to Lani in Nova Scotia!
ReplyDeleteI had a ball playing with the book all week, though I was a bit intimidated by all those blank pages. It would be great to be one of the later Mirthers - I'd love to see what all those wonderfully creative women come up with - maybe Jamie will put some of the pics here?
The most creative thing I did was creating my own Hand Turkey, which I absolutely LOVED! Cuddled up with a blanket on a wet Sunday afternoon, with Jessica Fletcher on the telly and an array of bright felt tip pens...bliss!
The Happy Book is on it's way to Australia! It's
ReplyDeletea fun book--I especially enjoyed asking people to add to a page. I was dismayed to find out some people don't know what makes them happy!
My slideshow project was a little disappointing, as the quality really degraded after I uploaded it to Vimeo, but I did post it on my blog.
First time visitor and this is a wonderful idea. I look forward to reading about the journeys this book will take. How inspiring :)
