I love seeing the Happy grow in our Flickr group! I've pulled together some of the photos that make us smile! (If you don't see yours here, it may be because you have a setting that didn't allow me to access it.)
I'm also excited to share that we have a new prize! Added to the pile are two copies of the wonderful new book by Summer Pierre, The Artist in the Office: How to Creatively Survive and Thrive Seven Days a Week. I interviewed Summer about what it's like to be an artist with a day job. You can have a listen here. Thank you, Summer!
Here's where we are on The Happy Adventure. If anyone has an update, be sure to leave a comment and let us know:
Reminder: And just a quick reminder. In January I sent each of you an email adventurer's kit, including the address of the next person in your circle. Please make sure you have that tucked away somewhere safe so that you're ready when it's your turn.
And let's keep sharing our happy:
- Everyone's welcome to write a post about what made them happy this week and share it in the Mr. Linky below.
- Come on by our Vimeo group to share a video of what makes you happy! It doesn't have to be perfect or edited or even have sound! Whatever makes you happy is just right. A moment of home video? Perfect. Your cat purring? Purrfect.
- Or if photography's more your thing, catch a moment of happy and share it at our Flickr group called Share Your Happy. Come see what people are sharing! There's family and inspiration boards and rainbows and stars and pie!
- And remember, you can absolutely get yourself your own copy to work through while waiting for the mail-around book to arrive!
so much to be happy for, but can't fully express it. just being, today, hope, love, friends, possibilities..

I finally added a photo to your Flickr Happy Group Jamie! Amazing to see the book in action moving all over the place, how exciting!
ReplyDeleteHi Jamie and all you fellow happy bookers
ReplyDeleteAt last I have put up a post about my experience with the Happy Book. You can find it at http://rosehiporprune.blogspot.com/2010/02/happiness-is.html
I loved being part of this project. One thing that occurred to me that other people might have a thought on is the time of year that you make your contribution. I was the first in the Mirth Circle and so was filling my pages at the darkest, coldest part of the year. I found it pretty difficult to think happy thoughts. If I was doing it in July, I would have been surrounded by sunshine and birdsong and who could fail to be thinking happy thoughts then? Having said that, the things I put in are more quiet and reflective than my July things would have been. So what I was thinking was, will we see a difference in atmosphere, mood and even colour, as the book goes through its journey?
Thanks so much Jamie for giving me the chance to participate. I can honestly say that it has added to my life and perhaps even changed it - thanks!
