The Happy Book: April 9

Suzie's Test Kitchen: Blender Test #1 from Suzie Ridler on Vimeo.

I totally love the range of happiness! How cool is it that Suzie the Foodie's blender makes her happy! Yay, Suzie for venturing into the world of video. Your joy at this blender sure spreads the happy! Everyone be prepared though - the blender is loud, lol! Though nothing gets in the way of experiencing Suzie's joy. Thanks for sharing this!

I hope people are feeling inspired to create videos! You can do it! We love to see you.

I have been having some really wonderful conversations about how much people are enjoying The Happy Book adventure, especially when one of the books arrives on their doorstep! Maybe this week that will be you!

Just a Reminder: Make it Easy to Find Your Happy with Direct Links

It's so exciting to see what's making everyone happy each week. In order to make that really easy for everyone, whenever they're checking in, it's a great idea to add a direct link to your post, not simply a link to your blog. For example, it's easier to find Gemmy Girl's happy flowers of spring at this address: http://craftthesnark.blogspot.com/2010/03/happy-flower-friday.html than at http://craftthesnark.blogspot.com.

So let's check in with where The Happy Book is this week:
  • Bliss: The Bliss book has made it to Agenda Gal (blog to come) in Alaska!
  • Giggle: Carmen has the Giggle book in California!
  • Mirth: Ellecubed has The Happy Book in Toronto. She's been a bit under the weather but once she's up and about, the book will find it's way to Leah in Massachusetts!
  • Glee: Sunny has been having a blast with the book in Sedona! The Glee book is really moving and shaking (which isn't a surprise really!). Sunny is the seventh person in the circle to be playing with The Happy Book!
Let's keep sharing our happy:
  • Everyone's welcome to write a post about what made them happy this week and share it in the Mr. Linky below.
  • Come on by our Vimeo group to share a video of what makes you happy! It doesn't have to be perfect or edited or even have sound! Whatever makes you happy is just right. A moment of home video? Perfect. Your cat purring? Purrfect.
  • Or if photography's more your thing, catch a moment of happy and share it at our Flickr group called Share Your Happy. Come see what people are sharing! There's family and inspiration boards and rainbows and stars and pie!
  • And remember, you can absolutely get yourself your own copy to work through while waiting for the mail-around book to arrive!
What made you Happy this week?

  2. Oh Jamie! I can't believe you put my blender video up, that is too funny! Yes, it's true, that blender has been making me happy every single day since I got it. Nothing better than tools that make life easier. Sigh. So nice!
