Happy Friday! In my blog post today I wrote about my feeling of gratitude to city leaders who created my local city park about 100 years ago. These people were visionaries who saw the need for green spaces in the city. They created a little jewel right in my neighborhood, and I am so grateful!
ReplyDeleteMy post might not sound like much fun but it's where my heart and soul took me! Looking forward to this week's assignment!!!
ReplyDeleteMy gratitude this week was for meeting an online friend in person, and for learning to see the beauty in my unique vision of the world. I keep being re-taught that!
ReplyDeleteHi Jamie, I am so happy to be a part of ur group again. This will be so much fun. Thank u for all your time. : )
ReplyDeleteI started my Thank you cards and couldn´t stop. Lol! There are so many persons that I´m grateful for, that I will take a few weeks for this one. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for communities. These circles, both local and online, enrich the lives of all in them, but also the lives each of those people touch. Imagine how far the impact reverberates!
ReplyDeleteI'm so far behind in this adventure but I did post on my blog something that made me happy this week, music! More specifically Ani DiFranco's music! : )
ReplyDeleteThat is the second time in 24 hours that I have heard mention of Ani DiFranco... Maybe I should go give her a listen...
ReplyDeleteI am slightly out of order with the tasks I think, but I posted a happy post about it all! And the book sparked a whole load of happy at work this afternoon!
This week was a reminder of what I should be doing on a regular basis! Thanks Jamie and The Happy Book :)
ReplyDeleteps Rose, yes Ani is a must!
I'm loving Fridays now, too, spending time focusing on the happy and looking forward to the next week's happy-making assignment. :)
ReplyDeleteAs always, looking forward to the next challenge. See you next Friday.
ReplyDeleteI haven't had a chance to blog in a while, but I have a HUGE gratitude this past week- my husband is ALIVE after a terrible accident at work. He suffered multiple injuries but should recover in time. Thank you Thank you Thank you!! (I took donuts and hugs to his coworkers who saved his life). I am ready for some happy and dance tunes for next Friday!
ReplyDeleteFun fun fun!! I just listened to your video and we are so looking forward to the dance music party ;)
ReplyDeleteI added a request at the bottom of my post for my readers to add their fav dance songs. Hope I get lots!
The main thing that made me happy this week is that my little guy finally got a proper diagnosis on the skin condition that he has endured for the past several months. He's finally on the rights meds and improvements are already noticeable.
ReplyDeleteI love this gratitude assignment! We should do this one everyday.
